During its history the city was renowned as one of the most prosperous and advanced maritime republics of all time. Throughout its rich and troubled history Dubrovnik remained to this day one of the most beautiful medieval cities on the Mediterranean and was included on UNESCO‘s World Cultural Heritage List in 1979. We’ll take you for a walk throughout its stone paved streets, visiting the heart of the old town and witness the impressive economic, social, and cultural achievements during over 1,400 years of Dubrovnik history. It is truly a place where every stone has a story to tell. In your 2 hour tour, you will be taken off the beaten path to get acquainted with all Dubrovnik secrets usually not told to most other guests, but all major sights will be visited as well (Onofrio’s fountain, Franciscan Monastery, St. Blaise Church, Orlando’s Column, Sponza Palace, Rector’s Palace, Cathedral). Our guides are all Dubrovnik natives for generations and each of them has some unique stories and legends to tell that cannot be found in any of the guide-books.
