Plitvice Lakes

Overview

Visit with us one of the most beautiful locations in Europe, the Plitvice lakes National Park. Surrounded by dense forest of beech and fir trees, Plitvice Lakes are a unique natural phenomena in the world: 16 lakes connected by countless waterfalls, presenting an uninterrupted play of light and water. Plitvice Lakes are a protected ecosystem and a national park since 1949. The perfect picture nature has been creating for several millenniums, leaving everyone lost for words. During our walking tour you can experience the birth of a vivid rainbow while getting refreshed with the scattered drops of a 78 meters high waterfall. Find out why and how the Lakes change colours from azure blue to emerald green. Enjoy thousands of sparkling falls, clean pure air, the great Splasher, an idyllic boat ride on the Lake Kozjak, the endemic flora and fauna and the fine local food of the Lika region.
